April 2021 Thread
Back from visiting the only zoo in Montana. It was unseasonably warm and the animals were already lethargic at 10 am. On top of that, they purposely lie or sit around with their backs to you. Even the raptors. They're tired of being stared at. Reminds me of an early Twilight Zone episode. Two astronauts crashed on Mars, with one eventually dying. The other was "rescued" by Martians. They set him up in an Earth-like home and then left, locking the door behind them. Then the window curtains opened and he realized that he was now a zoo exhibit.

Enjoy it while you can. After MLB's recent (and ignorant) decision to boycott Georgia, I'd say that baseball was dead to me. But I actually quit watching it years and years ago after the players went on that long strike.

Funny thing,
When I was in Vietnam, getting ready to climb onto a helicopter to go to “somewhere” in the jungle, who was winning Baseball or a Football game, or who won an Academy Award meant nothing.
But when they announced that the Chaplain was having Church and Communion, THAT was important.

Re: April 2021 Thread
Got two private schools and two homeschool organizations interested in participating in the "education choices" fair. It's on the calendar. Now we need a catchy name and inexpensive ideas on how to advertise it. I do know the owner of a local Christian radio station and can ask him for a free spot (he's on the board of one of the schools). But that might be preaching to the choir. Need to reach the other 4000 families out there.
