Camporama 2020 (2021?) Empty Camporama 2020 (2021?)

I am glad that even though the Camporama has been postponed, there is a great commitment to still have it as soon as feasible. I guess some of the good news is that we have a few extra months to fundraise so that more of our boys and men can attend. I would personally like it a little bit if we could hold it when it wasn't so HOT in Missouri. It was 114 degrees a few days in July 2016 and I was not looking forward to seeing that again. If they had stayed the course but required us to wear masks I think I would have cancelled.
I wonder if the new one will be essentially identical to the plan or if there will be changes because of the postponement. How has this affected your outpost? Is this good news or bad news?

Is there a viable alternative to when it happens? It's got to be in the summer months at some point. Is there a time of summer that is better in Misery? I mean,... Missouri?

When I was a kid my dad had a construction project in Missouri. He said it was pretty rough weather wise.

Maybe the first part of June would be cooler. Aren't most schools out by then?

I would say mid-June would be safe, but that's a pretty rapid turn around after getting finished with school and then getting everything ready to leave.

Camporama was something we talked about trying to go to (this year actually, back in '16), but weren't able to make it work. Maybe one day...

Our Pow Wow is the first full week of June in Missouri. It most often rains and we have thunderstorms. It is cooler.
