Phlilip, I can agree with him on ending the drug war. Its as bad probibition. No Sanders sticker. Let's be reasonable if there is sufficient cause to warrant an investigation then yes. That is even built into the 4th amendment the requirement of a warrant with reasons cited. A cop if he receives a report or hears or sees what constitute probable cause he can and should investigate. Until probable cause presents itself then I agree leave him alone.

Yes I totally agree if there's sufficient cause then there should be an investigation. I just always say "if it's good for the gander, it's good for the goose" and unless we want big brother to totally remove the last bit of freedoms we have, then we need to be careful with it. I just try to turn the argument around to something that I want to do, or like, that someone else might not. How much do I want them to be able to tread on my privacy? Sorry, that's just the libertarian side of my thinking.

He's standing shoulder to shoulder with Bush if he is to his left at all... IMO. I think Trump hit the nail on the head with kasich when he said he was in the right place at the right time to look good from the fracking. I think without that boost to the economy his policy positions would stand out more.

Don't forget Jindal. I wish his polling numbers would come up on the national level. I think he's proven himself to be a solid conservative.

Held the Tool Craft merit camp this weekend that we had planned when the floods came a few weeks ago. We held the camp at one of our commander's property and had five boys show up. Overall I think it went pretty well. We went over the paperwork portion Friday evening before it got dark, then set about making foil meals and let the boys do what boys do in a field at night. Wrestle, throw a light up football around, etc. It ended up getting pretty cold last night and we woke up to a heavy frost. After breakfast we did the hands on portion of the merit and then let them play a little while longer before we broke camp and headed home.

It's been delayed time and again for years, but it's finally going to happen this summer. Taking the wife to Boston! Paul Revere's home is only a couple of doors down from where we're staying. My retirement "shadow box" has a flag flown from the USS Constitution, so that's a definite stop. I also desperately want some kind of historical antique from Revolutionary War times. Tack on the Freedom Trail, Bunker Hill and a Red Sox game, and it just doesn't get any better than that.

I agree with you. Things will get worse before they get better. We had 7 years of the media and the DNC dressing down Bush for his actions against Islamic terrorists. And now we've had 7 years of the media and DNC in charge. We are so far down the wrong road that it will take a long time to back up and take the right way.

And the soonest that will begin to happen will be in Jan 2017. Obama is set in his ways, not listening to any of his advisors who are counseling policy changes. Obama continues to trip up in public statements, seeming to count himself among Muslim believers. My wife has always believed him to be a closet follower of Islam. She may be right. There is precious little to show that he is a Christian, and even less to show that he is committed to keeping Americans safe.

I just got done trying to outrace that Snow Storm all the way from Monroe, Wisconsin to Saint Louis to Memphis, Tn. When I started out, Friday Evening, you couldn't see the roads.

I tried to get in front of the storm. As well as I could do was to get near the leading edge of it. Snow, then Mix, then Rain was coming down heavy, and visibility was low, but at least, you could see the pavement for most of the trip.

The entire Storm Front was over 800 miles, North-to-South.

I didn't get dry pavement until I cleared Memphis and turned east
