Have him sit on a ladder outside for 4 hours. Maybe he will see where you're coming from.

Re: November Thread
Yes. I thought of that. I will just shrug it off. We wlll be doing a 25 miler in a couple of weeks. I am sure he will be ready for that one.
He drives a forklift in a a huge underground freezer. He is liek his dad. Weather doesn't keep us from doing things very often...this weather just made me stick my nose up in the air.
Ha!

Re: November Thread
I was up on a pole this afternoon cutting vines away so I could gain access into this splice up in the air. By the time I got it open my pinkies were screaming for heat. It's time to break out the gloves. That rain was cold. It was about 38 degrees but it was cold.
Truck heater was nice. When I get cold and wet...I just get back into the truck and fire it up and dry off a bit and then get back after it in a few. Days like today will make all your thousands of dollars of test equipment go belly up so you have to try and keep it dry or it all goes back in for repairs. I found the defrosters and the heat on hi between jobs keep that equipment from shorting out by drying it out.
Wet cold rain is a tough obstacle and when it's blowing it's worse.

For my northern brothers... Enjoy warmer temps rear round without moving. I think I'd have to do this if I lived any farther north.

Re: November Thread
So what do you think that would cost? An extra $75,000.00?

Re: November Thread
Well, the Christmas lights are up. I no longer go up a ladder to place them along the roof-line. If I can't reach it from ground level, it ain't going there. Can anybody "out-Grinch" me?
