Our new house

Tomorrow we start the painting. I am off work Monday-Wednesday, so I get I help out

It won't be long now. Poof soon you all will have a new home and what a blessing that will be. You guys are moving right along and it all looks very much like what we do down here.

I was on vacation Monday - today so I got to help

Sunday, before painting started, somebody got in & wrote scripture verses on the walls. Can't imagine who








Most of the house is painted now. Living room & kitchen need a 2nd coat everything else is done

When we built this house, we wrote scripture verses on the studs prior to the Drywall going on. That way, they will always be in there, and if (in the future) anyone tears the drywall off for improvements, they'll get a bit of "Witnessing".

If they are Christians, they will be pleasantly pleased.

If they are not, it will aggravate the Snot out of them, not knowing how many Scriptures are nestled within the other walls of the house.

there were some written on exposed studs in door ways as well

All the painting is now done (walls & trim)
Our cabinets were delivered Wednesday & counter tops today.

After 6 months (since the initial request) Consumers Power has finally gotten around to hooking up our power. Some of the plumbing, electrical & HVAC work has been delayed due to lack of power. so things can now move forward

Make sure the wiring is done right cause they don't tow houses away...

Any day now! It's time to start boxing up for the big move!

Finish carpentry is coming along nicely. (done by contractor)
most of the rooms are trimmed except for kitchen & dining room. Upper kitchen cabinets have been installed.

Expected sometime this week
Counter tops delivered
Tile installed in kitchen & bathrooms
lower kitchen cabinets installed after tile is laid.

You ever been to Canada's east coast? Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.....most Canadians need to take translators with them as the dialect is so different and strange.

The stove & refrigerator from Whirlpool were delivered yesterday
our counter tops & linoleum were delivered today

Woo Whooo Ranger. It's just about shinnin time. Move in time.

We are wanting to put in some of those doors in our house. Our wood doors have taken a beating with my son and all his friends.

Those paneled doors look nice.

Good idea not putting the garage attached to the house. Build a big 48 by 60 garage just out of hearing distance from the house. Add a few dead animal skins hanging around and you will have the whole garage to yourself. GRIN!!!!

Chris may need to reside in the garage then.
