How do I install navigator now

The program is now out of date and the original programmer has moved on to Glory.  I don't know of any one updating it.

However the Ranger Database.... Different program but it will manage your District down to your Outpost levels.
You are welcome to download this program. (NOT OFFICIAL SOFTWARE)  However  It's been in circulation for 20 plus years and is free just ask that you charter your outpost if you use it.  Holler if you have any questions.  My number is on the help page.

There is a MAC version available but it needs updated from 2 years ago.

Maybe its time for you to re-pitch your db to National??

They know about it.  Our District Director is on National Staff.  I gave him a copy with all our District Records in it.  It's better off being free in all respects.  

Sad thing is they Filemaker Pro now have done away with the Runtime ability that allows me to make working copies of the program for download.  I would spend 3 to 400 every 2 or 3 years updating the software so I could publish a runtime.  No real need to update now.  That was a bad decision on someone's part.   There thinking is that people will pay the 250.00 per copy of the program and use it to open these files.  I don't know many that will do that..at least not for profit folk.  For now I will update as I can.  Yet the authoring program is no longer being supported...  Ha.  Front page is the same way and I still use it.  Who knows! I may be 80 and still updating the Ranger Database...... doubt it!
