Treasure Hunt Trivia
We are having a treasure hunt at Pow Wow this next year.
I checked into a smart phone triva hunt...bottom dollar cost was free for 10 people. 50 people cost between 50 to 500.00 smakers.
So in the BIG budget position I am in... FREE is better I am looking to fill this treasure hunt based on this scripture.
1. needing a clue to point to have eternal life.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
H A V E E T E R N A L L I F E
2. have a treasure map of our pow wow camp ground and can use a choice of: clue, compass bearing, Rhyme, crypto gram, math problem, Ranger Triva, GPS coordinate, Ranger Skill questions. I want the boys to figure out the letters for the last part of john 3:16
I got all excited when thinking the smart phone was going to be the ticket until I priced the service. It did most of all I wanted it to. I emailed 2 places and the cheapest they could go was not in my budget. So I will need to come up with a laminated sheet that they will use a sharpie to fill out the codes and clues to make the treasure map take them to the right place. All the boys that complete the treasure map will get their name put in a drawing for a big prize I will pay for.
So any of you idea guys have a idea on this? I have until June of 2018 to get this worked out.. Good clues, , Rhyme, crypto gram, math problem, Ranger Triva, Ranger Skill questions. I wish I had the old ROTY questions handy. That would give me some good material.
So what say you guys. Any puzzlers out there that love this kind of stuff?

Re: Treasure Hunt Trivia
That sounds like a great idea! There are a lot of people into geo-caching these days. Even found out there's a thing now where people paint rocks and put inspirational messages or verses on and then hide them for people to find.
I'll keep this in mind and chew on it...

I am looking for Ranger Triva and Ranger related clues and such to put in to the treasure hunt.
Anyone have a good source for such?

Re: Treasure Hunt Trivia
Not that I know of. I will be using smart phones to locate a long/Lattitude in the treasure hunt. Want pull in some new tech as well as old tech.
Thought about some geocache boxes for them to locate and find some with a riddle to locate them.

Re: Treasure Hunt Trivia
Years ago under Marsh I had heard a Geocache merit was in the works. It must been code blue on the table.
