Lead Mine Conservation Area a Good resource
Report and pictures of our scout trip to Lead Mine Conservation Area. We had a good time. This took place during the Big ICE storm.
A tid bit of info... I find it interesting..
Americans suffer 1.5 million heart attacks and strokes each year. Cardiovascular disease-including heart disease and stroke-is the leading cause of death in the United States. Every day, 2,200 people die from cardiovascular diseases-that's nearly 800,000 Americans each year, or 1 in every 3 deaths.
While so many are affected by no exercise and a bad diet and sitting and watching TV or putting on the pounds plunking away at the keyboard. Some of these folks could have been out with us in the out of doors getting healthier by the moment. It really is worth it to go out and get outside our comfort zone. It's good for us.
We had a great time. Here is the story. We did get ICE and we did leave a hour before I planned to yet the experience was grand!
