I made a paint booth for derby racing a few years back that has worked wonderful.

Each 2' by 2' paint station needed a lazy susan.  So... went to ACE hardware and bought four 4" lazy Susan's.  These are metal bearning squares 4x4" that I then took a 1/4" piece of plywood cut out two one gallon paint can size circles and then drilled 4 holes 1/4" where the holes line up with the lazy susan bearings and then wetted it and glued with gorllia glue for foam.

Works great.  I did coat the ball bearings with some Teflon lube so if anyone got really wild with the paint it wouldn't stick.

We use a paint block about 3" wide by 8" long about 1/2" thick with 4 sheet rock screws with the points sticking up...push the derby car down on them and it will hold the bottom of the car so it won't fall off and you can pickup and carry the car around with them.  Place this on the lazy susan and spin it for a easy painting.

I have been meaning to do this for a long time. Just never got around to it. Will take a picture and video and get it posted with a link here.  It's a keeper.
