God and Country - Revisited
I'm sure the old-timers here recall the God and Country program. It was non-denominational, but recognized by AG HQ and Royal Rangers. Divided into 4 age groups, successful completion of the lessons and projects led to a small medallion for the boy. Done right, it was a good program and worthwhile for a commander to teach. I did it a few times over the years. Interestingly, I couldn't find any mention of it anymore.
Anyway, a church mom has asked me to teach it to her middle school (scouting) boys and others. She hadn't received any answers from our pastors after asking them. I guess I'm willing to do it, but don't want to compete/clash with the youth group. It does tie in quite nicely with our senior pastor's message series on discipleship, though. I'll knock on the door and see what happens.

The mom called me the next day to say her husband stepped up to teach it.

Re: God and Country - Revisited
I liked the God & Country program. I wish Rangers hadn't dumped it.

Ah come Chris that fire bible gma program is so much more superior. It would take away $ from GPH’s materials.
I did the HS level G&C medal with the green on my own.
