I'll keep that mind if/when we go coed. Got an email today from my church's secretary that M'ettes is discontinuing their monthly club focus in the sanctuary. She asked if we are doing the same. I am planning on discussing this with my leaders and get their thoughts.

Personally, I like the exposure it gives and doing awards in church. I may meet halfway and do an appearance quarterly for awards presentation and focus on 1 of 3 groups during the cofa's.

Well, GPH is going to lose more sales.

At ParadeStore, Ribbons are .90; at GPH, they are $2.39.

At ParadeStore, Gold Numerals are $1.50; at GPH they are $2.39.

(And I'll bed that ParadeStore doesn't gouge you on shipping.)

What about that awesome charter discount of 15%? Oh yea, thats a penalty not a benefit. Everywhere else is more than 15% off and you don't have to pay $200+ to get it.

THIS cat also has his old GPH Catalogs that show that the same year that they offered a 15% discount to Chartered Outposts, they also jacked up their listed prices by 15%. So they GAVE Chartered Outposts NOTHING and IMPOSED a 15% Penalty for not being Chartered.

I know Chris knows well. The midnight of the change he had items in his cart. After midnight they all jumped by approximately 15%. At least they could have phased in the price hikes gradually. They weren't even smooth enough to try and fool us with a gradual hike in price.

When I mentioned this on Rangerforums the response was a cold, "well, you didn't think you were going to run it cheaper"? I got a solution save $ on not chartering and pay full price.

If a Used Car Dealer says that he is going to save you 15% on a car, goes in the office and dummies-up an invoice by adding 15%, then brings it out to you and takes off 15%, he lied.

If it's a lie for a Car Salesman, then..........

Basically, thats what happened. Been better if they do what furniture stores do markup all year long and have a 15% off sale.

I'm sure many more out there were smart enough to figure this out. Its the same thing we do at organizational events we figure out a cost to break even or modest margin and tack 15% on it for unchartered outposts.
