Batcave 2017 80 folks camping over night in a cave!

Tommarrow we head out once again for the BIG Bat Cave campout. 80 folks slated to go as of today. Temps will be chilly. No Rain or snow. 40 for a high and 24 for a low.

I got a kick out of one of the boys.  He said hey...that skull with the glowing eyes and the candle on top of it is fake. It's foam.  I said what..how could that have happened..we killed him just this morning.  GRIN!  The boy stepped back and said... uhuuha....no you didn't he would have still had blood on him.... GRIN!  Shinning times in ministry.  These boys need some mystery and challenge.  They got it at the Big Bat Cave.

Looks great! How far does the cave go back? Is it on public land? How close are you able to park?

Its on private property. Parking is in a field about a 1/4 mile away. Cave goes back about 500 feet then goes into upper rooms and smaller stuff. Several rooms up there.

Do you have a video tour of the cave on YouTube?

I have not done that. I will try and do that next year. I have a light now that brings it up where you can see in there. 870 lums. Technology is wonderful in many ways..other ways it's a bane..but sometimes we get it right!

Will put it on my todo list.
