Web Sites and Google Registration Big Brother is watching you.

Well I just finished signing up for Googles Webmaster site. It registeres my site with Google so they won't display a BIG RED SCREEN THAT SAYS DON'T ENTER.

After nearly 23 years of having a online or web site on the internet....Big Brother is once again looking out for all of us (THEM).

I had a malware infect some of my self installing royal ranger files and Bitware turned in a complaint to Google about it. Pay no attention to the other 50 virus scanners out there that said my site was ok.

I fixed the problem in about 2 minutes and refreshed Avast and put it on it's merry way once again. it just sits there and hosts my website. No uploads to it. How it gets an infection has alluided me. I researched the malware. Scanned every system on my network. Clean. Months and years go by and bam it sneaks in there and changes the 19 self installing ranger files to a 34k file.

Anyway it's all fixed. I filled out there Big Brother is watching you Webtools thing and am awaiting a review to remove the BIG RED SCREEN of DEATH! GRIN!

I laugh, last year I took a new job. Still collections, but now a law firm instead of the state government. Best change ever, best job I ever had, working for a bunch of attorneys. Christians too. We've even openly talk about prayer and service on the floor.

Not all attorneys are bad. Jesus is our advocate to the Father.

Ya. One of my GMA boys is getting a law degree... I told him he may miss heaven. I think the scribes and pharises had law degrees. From my experience with these folk...not many will make it to the pearly gates. I often wonder if the legal council for the AOG is saved. His faith is in his ways of interpreting the laws of the land. Often so far removed from common sense that they just cause people to often just shake their heads.

Either way God knows the hearts. He will figure it all out.

So what does this have to do with Google website control?

Each has a measure of faith. God has Grace that covers our sins. We all know and see what happens. Was Jesus without faith in his father for not jumping when Satan tempted him. It can also be pride of life for us Christians to intentionally go in harms way without preparations and say Lord will save us. Maybe he will maybe wmhe won't. Its not lack of faith but its just I would rather not tempt God to teach me a lesson I could have learned the easy way.

Ok. I just checked my spam filter.
It spammed out the verification of my registration to the website tools that will help keep me registered as a website owner with google. errrr ummmmm hello. One little two little 3 little nerds...four little five little 6 little nerds.... ok. I feel better.

I guess I had better get up there and fix that squirrel chew in that broadband cable so the nerds can get even write more code. Ha!

Still suffering from the Red screen of death. you must have ticked off someone in google...

I sent them the registration and my email. My nephew works for them. I may have to call him and see if they can turn this all around. OR do the same thing they did to me and have at&t put a recording on all their inbound lines warning folks they might put a big red screen when you talk to them....GRIN! It really suprises me they think they can get away with what they are doing. We (at&t)have never sensored anyone... we are just the pipe it all goes through. It's up to the individual what they want to do. Block or not block.

Google even tried to block the download of the dbase saying it was infected with malware. they really don't like you.

They do that for all exe (self install files) as they can kill your computer if the author of the file wants to do so. Yet those guys are not around long before someone buries them.

The biggest infection I had was a malware that would cause a pop up. It didn't take long to erradicate it but it's aggravating having to constantly be watching for it.

Well. It happened again. My exe files turned into 33k files. I ran malwarebytes on it this time. It said I had infections but none of them were worth of much more than honorable mention.

It only affects my old xppro server system. All it has on it is a webserver and 12 gig of ranger pictures. Figures as that is something that gets the gospel message out more than anything.

I have Glary Utilities, Avast and now Malwarebytes running on it. Will see. It can go for months and be fine and then bam it will change those exe files to a 33k file. I have thought about putting the files up on dropbox but they cost after a while so I am too cheapo to do that.

Is malwarebytes good?

GRIN! I thought I had the best of the best. Glary Utilities, Avast. It has worked for me for 10 years or so. I tried malwarebytes as it was recommend by my tech net certified brother inlaw. He fixed my son's laptop with it. I ran stuff on it for 2 days and it never found and fixed it. My brother inlaw ran malwarebytes on it and it was fixed.

So I don't have enough data to say for sure either way. I keep checking my server to see if those 33k files show up and that is all it does. It's more of a false alarm that goes off nusiance.

Well.  My brother inlaw who has a degree in networking uses it.  I have it on 4 of my computers as free ware.  

It hasn't caught anything. Just does a update every so often.

Avast seems to catch more than the rest of them.  Yet it or any of the others found that 34 k file root whatever they call it.  I have ran about 6 months now with no infections in those self installing files.  It alludes me as well as the malware authors.

So are you going to be delivered from the big red death screen soon?

Grin. My Google Nephew will be at our house next week. I will ask him to hit my site and tell me what he thinks of it.

I really don't care to much about it. It's not for profit and the main folk that visit are Royal Rangers that know me.

Once you click on the red screen it will allow you to visit and you never see the screen again.

I kinda like it. HA!

i still see the red screen EVERYTIME.

Are you using a PC, or a phone? For some reason I get the red screen at the computer, but my phone pulls it up fine.

On that red screen there is a more options (to the best of my memory) or a link. Just go there and be persistant and it will allow you in. Once you have done that one time it doesn't pop up anymore.

I asked my wifes nephew about the red screen of death sunday. He had not heard of it. Yet he said he will look into it. He said it's probably one of those automated things. I said, Ya I was thinking of putting up a recording and or a website on anyone going to google through at&t lines warning them that google might lead you to a site that could harm you. He laughed.

I was on trailspace and the red screen is still there. Had one of the moderators ask me about it. It's a public searchable site.
So I explained the situation in my gear review and while I was doing that their site glitched out and copied my post 3 times in a row. I laughed and said look out google may come after you guys. Ha!
