Wait a couple years and NYC will see the results of their new mayor's pseudo-Commie policies. DeBlasio is so far left, he's run into the far right facists. One of the guest speakers at the inaugural called the city a plantation. It's only going to get worse.

Yeah I saw that on Fox tonight. Scary times....

So how many businesses that contribute 85 million per year to the State's economy is Colorado willing to lose?

Ideologues don't care about money though...

I'm not an ideologue,  I'm a realist!!

Just like MD governor O'Malley doesn't care about driving businesses and taxpayers out of state. They just raise taxes on whoever is left.

It really is difficult to see life like they do because we don't have the same lens through which we're viewing it. There are, I believe, those who make bad policy decisions because they desire control over the populace. Others however do it out of a genuine feeling that those policies are actually good for the populace. 

Similar to the composite picture where you can see either a young beautiful girl, or an old lady. The facts are that there are black lines on white paper. Some people see it one way and others see it another. Both parties genuinely believe that they interpret the lines correctly. Once someone is set on what they believe to be true, it's very difficult to change that. 

I believe strongly that conservatism is closer to real truth than is liberalism. The truth is that there is no perfect system outside of Father God's perfect system of justice. Everything else is our finite attempt to govern ourselves...

Good post. Perspective is vital and realizing we don't know it all is paramount.

Liberalism is a matter of perspective. In a way Jesus was probably labeled a liberal by the religious establishment. He challenged them, rebuked them, founded his own church, appointed his own apostles, put new wine into new bottles, turn the other cheek, love thy enemies, and the whole beattitudes.

The founders were liberals when viewed by the British. Lincoln turned liberal to maintain centralized control.

Today's liberal is the establisment and is rebelling against God.
