Re: February Greetings
I don't know enough to even know what I need to know...
I'm starting from pure scratch. I'm realizing that relying on other's knowledge of excel isn't good enough. There are so many things I'll be able to do with it that I'm just now realizing, now that I'm learning about it.

Take a look at filemaker. It does all of what excell does and it's graphical. All that data can be used a million ways.

I actually read the reviews and felt that Excel for Dummies was too advanced for me! :lol:I ended up going with "Don't Fear the Spreadsheet". It was written for people who have NO knowledge about spreadsheets. That's me.RRCmdrBennett wrote:Excel for Dummies...? No offense it might help.

There was a pre-screening a few months ago in front of a test audience. Whether the members were Christian, Jewish or atheist, no one liked it. Hopefully, the producers took the feedback to heart and did some major editing.

Re: February Greetings
Got some nasty weather here in SC.
(These are the power outage numbers around the state.
Not a lot of snow, but a lot of sleet and freezing rain which is taking out power lines and making the roads very icy.

Give me snow all day long. A couple of years ago, I was alone up at Ranger Mountain getting my outpost's site prepped for the state's annual campout. After three hours in the sleet and freezing rain, I called it good enough and drove the 180 miles home.

Re: February Greetings
Moving to the South has made me think differently about weather.
In Wisconsin, the majority of our weather came from Canada or the Dakotas, so the air aloft was almost always cooler than the ground temp. So if the temperature was in the 20's or 30's and you got precipitation, it was snow.
Down here, so much weather comes from the Gulf of Mexico, that the air aloft can actually be warmer than the ground temp. So the temperature can be in the 20's or low 30's, you get rain, and it immediately freezes upon striking the trees, power lines, roads, etc.

Re: February Greetings
Apparently not. Here are some quotes from an article today...Phillip Gross wrote: Hopefully they did.
- You'll enjoy the film, if you're not too religious.
- Dark and confused, it's an exploration of Noah's emotions.
- Noah comes off as a crazy, irrational, religious nut who is fixated on themes of overpopulation and environmental degradation.
Sounds to me it's about a Noah that liberals could believe in. Save your money.

Re: February Greetings
I seriously doubt the earth was overpopulated in Noah's day. A big disaster to reduce population is what the elite want to happen.

I'll be working now that I can get down the roads... This little SNL skit pretty much sums up our snow experience here in the South. This makes me laugh every time I see it!

Not much into holidays. Too many have been turned into nothing more than an excuse to drink or buy stuff. Treat your wife special every day...she's worth more than a nod on Valentine's Day. Love Christ with all your heart every day...He's worth more than a song on Christmas.

Sure, there's a Commander: Discourages Holidays, then tells you when his Birthday is...
In 1971, I was in an Infantry AIT Training Unit (A-2-5) in Fort Polk, Louisiana. I was in the Orderly Room when I mentioned that my birthday was the next day.
First Sergeant Sneider said, "Tomorrow's your Birthday, Sergeant? In this Outfit, you get your Birthday off."
Another member of the Cadre said, "Since when did we start that, Top?"
The First Sergeant said, "Ever since my Birthday."
