Re: February 2016 Thread
Individuals are too smalled minded to govern their own affairs - Obama
One day if not soon Bible will be fullfilled. Demonize patriots, create distractions, ban private ownership of guns, mandatory buybacks (Hillary), NDAA indefinite detention into camps, strategic placement of emp's, power grid failure, mass civil unrest, martial law to restore order, and indefinite suspension of the constitution.

Looks like they took out Scalia. That's a major blow to our country as he was probably the strongest conservative on the bench. A truly sad day for us.

A Judge who understood the Constitution, and upheld it.
A true rarity.

Re: February 2016 Thread
Hate to hear that Chris. Hope you feel better soon!
Well spring baseball is kicking off again. Had tryouts the other day and the teams were divided up within the town. Looks like Phillip Jr will be squatting behind the plate again this season for the most part. Seth is looking good at first base and coach says he'll be pitching some too again. Looking forward to another good season.

I think that we should genetically duplicate Chris's Immune System and implant it into ISIS.
Hostilities would end within three weeks.

Re: February 2016 Thread
Grandkids spent the night here. After breakfast we'll drive to the Hauser Dam, walk across and then hike down the canyon that holds the Missouri River. Relatively easy and much to look at. Trout in excess of 15" are routine at the base of the dam. Further down is a tributary creek they spawn in. At the right time of year, it's cool to watch them turn in. At that point, you can't try to catch them.

Re: February 2016 Thread
The best trout that I ever had was brook trout at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin.
I was a senior company NCO, and one of the soldiers went out, caught some illegal trout, and brought them to the Mess Sergeant. He cooked them up.
It happened to be my birthday, and I got a good share of the fish.
I don't think that the fact that they were illegal made them taste better. I think that it was that it only took about four hours to go from the Stream to the Frying Pan (to get rid of any evidence) that insured that they were super-fresh.
Of course, a good E-7 Mess Sergeant, who knew what he was doing, definitely helped.
(Oh! I got cake, too.)

Best in a frying pan over a campfire. Get a medium crust on each side, serve with just a smidgen of syrup on top, alongside two eggs over easy. Mmmmm! I just put it on my shopping list.

Uh, oh. Turns out that a customer had contacted Uber about their crazy driver an hour before he started shooting people. And Uber failed to follow their own policy. Mega lawsuits to follow.

Someone complained about his driving....not his shooting
He failed to follow Uber policy (they can't carry guns) & he did not have a concealed pistol license

Re: February 2016 Thread
He was driving over medians and blowing through stop lights. When Uber gets a customer complaint, they're supposed to call the driver. If they had done that, maybe, just maybe, something could have been headed off.

Re: February 2016 Thread
People who want to kill people, find a way.
I struggle to see how a phone call from Uber would have changed anything.
To me the only thing that could have made a difference was the Uber customer who filed the complaint with Uber.
Had they called the police instead..they might have been looking for the guy a little sooner
