Christmas Season Greetings Thread
Hello all. I've missed hanging out here and look forward to jumping back in and catching up. Anyone have any interesting plans for the weeks to come?
Not quite a December plan, but we have our annual cold weather camp planned for January 9-10. All the boys are looking forward to that. Last year we had a low of 14*F, so we hope the weather will cooperate with us again and give us a cold one!

They will enjoy that trip and memories will be made they will laugh about in the years to come.
My son has been Tent to Hammock to tent to Hammock to tent. He just got a MSR Nook Front entrance. Last night they set up 3 brand new tents in the backyard and gave them test it rained a little...tonight it's going to pour.
We head out to Richland Creek Wilderness area on the 20th and 21st of this month. 5days before Christmas. We have 11 already signed up to go and now I need to work on the boys.
Pentecostal Evangel had a article in the back of it saying we increased one 1 inch in our belt size this year. Saying if your a 40 or greater your considered oversized...GRIN!
IN my opinion toooooo many over weight folks laying around eating and watching tv or playing with the smart phones. HA! I need to push away from the table at 36"
Hey if your looking for a pretty good tent Bass Pro has their 1 person full rain fly for 120.00 it rivals other tents I have seen that cost 250 to 300. Nice thing is it's built well and it should make a great tent for a one person backpacking tent.

I had a little extra money and bought 2 of them for gifts for some of my son's friends.
Way I figure it. If they are warm and dry when they are camping they may go with us more. Some folks buy the Walmart stuff and are always wet and cold. (I buy a lot of stuff from Walmart but not tents or sleeping bags.)

Nice looking tents! I still don't know exactly which way I want to go with my tent, so I'm still using the Walmart junk until I do. Plus I'm pretty strapped for cash right now, so no more extras until I get some money.
We've finished one particular job that we haven't received one cent on yet. It's putting a cramp in my style sitting on 200k... The worst part is that I haven't been able to give out Christmas bonuses to the guys yet because of it. Thought for sure it would be coming in by now. Keep us in prayer that the general contractor releases money soon!

Seems pretty quiet around here. Any chance that we can get the band back together?

We used to get seasons like this on the old forums going back 20 years. Still at it. RTK folks for Christ.
It will pick up. Too many good things in Rangers to be quiet for too long.

Too warm its scary and our stock is 86.66 as well the end must be near...
Gas is down to $2.15 a gallon. I had half a shift today and we.re all off tomorrow and I'm off Fri too.
Its also a sad time for our nation with the tensions in our cities. Keep the families of NYPD officers in prayer. The man who killed them once lived in my church's city of Lorain, OH.

Re: Christmas Season Greetings Thread
I hope you all had a Merry Christmas!
We had a green Christmas this year, been quite a few years since we have had no snow on the ground at Christmas time.
It did snow a little Christmas eve, but it was all melted by Christmas morning.
Had Friday off as well, so I had a lot of family time this weekend

We had a Council of Achievement a couple of weeks back & haven't got around to posting any pics.
Our 2 new Ranger Kids earned their first Advancement, Antelope
My 2 kids both earned the Gold Eagle
In addition Erin went back & finished up her back work to complete the Gold Trail Award, just a week before earning the Gold Eagle
