God Bless Y'all.

Merry Christmas!!!

I'm fighting back a Cold by taking Zicam, so my Egg Nog tastes like there's a penny in the bottom of the glass.

Hope you get feeling better quickly Claymore. I'm right there with you and it's no good being under the weather anytime, let alone a holiday.

For some this is not going to be the most wonderful time of the year. This week our district Cmdr and nat'l executive committee secretary Harry Hunt's parents died in the same week. Harry's father died first. Harry's mother collapsed during the funeral and died at the hospital. They were together 82 years, married 66, met at age 3. Keep them in your prayers.

Wow, that's extreme!

What a life they must've had. To he with someone that long is a blessing not many have.

Knew each before they might recall memories and married around 19 and stayed together for almost 7 decades. Amazing in our generation to see this.

Well, I have to go to my sister-in-law's Redneck New Year's Eve.

Standing around a fire barrel, eating chili, drinking cider, while the young adults shoot fireworks.

Whoopie!

I just went around our house and changed all the light bulbs. I guess that I'm out of excuses to keep from going.

Sounds better than sitting in a hotel room after working today while my family is across the state.... Wink

Of course at least I'll see my family again in a few days while we have thousands of men and women around the world tonight protecting these united States that don't know when or of they'll see their loved ones again.

May God bless all you this coming year.

And here I thought you were against gov't over-regulation. You've gone green and switched to the CFC bulbs.  Very Happy
Over a year ago, I stocked up on 100w old-school bulbs. Got enough to last my lifetime and then some. My boys will appreciate the inheritance.

After Christmas, we found two burned out bulbs from the light bars over our bathroom sinks, one burned out can-light in our bedroom, and florescents out in the laundry room.  I got the incandescent lights changed, but it winds up that one of the ballasts in the florescent is out.  Well, to the Hardware Store on Thursday.

Oh, by the way, I'm back from the Wing-Ding.  An hour & a half of unsupervised kids shooting fireworks past my head pegged-out my stress-meter.
