Watched the new Christmas movie from The Chosen production crew. Definitely worth your time and financial support. If it's showing in your area, make the time to go. And take someone.

How is everyone doing? Are those of you still in Rangers back in session now? (after the long covid break)

Things are going fairly well here. My kids are both in highschool-daughter is a senior-son is a junior.

My employer move dour operations to another town. Instead of a 25 minute drive-its now a 55 minute drive.
I am not liking this. Only thing that saves it fo rme is I dont have to drive over there everyday. I can work from home most days & only have to make the drive on days I have to drive a route. Sadly I have to drive a route 4 days this week. December 2021 Thread 2410941 Not too keen on that. But they did give me a very substantial pay increase. (they want me to stay on) Time will tell. I like the company & I like the people, but I dont like driving that far. Especialy since the whole trip is over 2 lane roads through farmland. Lots of deer.

We are seeing an uptick in Rangers.

We have gone from 2 boys to 7 or 8. I guess that there is a new sub-generation of Rangers coming our way.

Although we have had snow on a handful of days, including last night, it hadn't felt like a Montana winter until today. Minus 2 degrees out there.
Snowing
So I tried out my new battery-powered gloves. It was so nice not to have to thaw out my fingers for once. Worth every penny of the $150.

Let's hear it for small town sports. We lost our Milwaukee Brewers farm team a few years ago. But we still have our NA3HL hockey team. You can watch a game and have a meal for $20. Tonight, our Bighorns improved to 26-0. How far will they go in the playoffs?

How about you guys? Got a sports team nearby that you can watch?

There is a minor league baseball team in a neghboring town. But I haven't been recently .They are a Blue Jays A affiliate. If they were a Tigers franchise-sign me up, but could care less about Blue  Jays. Used to go more often when they are a Royals affiliate

Before you get too busy, and if it's showing near you, go see American Underdog. It's Kurt Warner's story, and it's done exceptionally well. By the end, you'll be praising God like he did.

Warmed up to 4 degrees, so I took advantage of the heat wave to put a new battery in the truck.

So far, it's been a decent year for snow and cold. Maybe this will chase some of the recent arrivals back to where they came from. And maybe that will lower some of the insane prices around here.
