World Organization of the Scout Movement

There was an article today that included an official statement from the World Organization of the Scout Movement. From what I can tell, this organization is a collective tent for all the scouting programs around the world, including the BSA right here. A Palestinian scout troop recently dedicated a training event to a terrorist who had knifed an Israeli-American to death. The WOSM spokesman said "Honest, this troop really isn't under our tent." Sure.

Looking at the organization's website, the home page was plastered with information about a "muslim black magic specialist." Ain't multi-culturalism grand?

Let's get them to join us. That's one reason we do this right... Evanglize..(or Reach for you old schoolers).

This old-schooler remembers the days when we didn't pander or compromise in order to make the fringe groups comfortable. Now, Christians are marginalized or demonized in order to drown out the Gospel message. The majority wants an easy life with no standards to live by or to measure up to. Everyone gets a bumper sticker, trophy, Obama-phone and (soon-to-be-subsidized) latte.

Mel Gibson has a new movie coming out that chronicles the true story of a conscientious objector who became a medic during WWII. He received the Medal of Honor for several days' heroic deeds on Okinawa. Truly epic. And all the movie pundits are focused on Gibson's drunken rant from a decade ago, saying that he's trying to overcome his shame. Nothing about the young hero. Shame on them.

Not defending either side but when 4/5 of the major media outlets are owned by Jews and the 5th is so pro Israel you have to expect it to stain your reputation. His Passion movie adds a pro catholic Mary scene where Peter is begging her forgiveness after denying Christ. Not recorded biblically or scriptural that Mary absolves sins.
