Yep. I heard about it yesterday on American Family Radio.

I think that the Presbyterian Church is also one that believes in "Enlightenment over Scripture".

It looks like that is working out fabulously........ scratch

To be fair, a Presby minister later announced an apology to anyone who was offended, saying that the prayer was not intentional. BUT, when you give the microphone to someone who says that Jesus is only a prophet, you better be ready with the kill switch, ala (no pun intended) Forrest Gump.

And the religion of peace is at it again. After shooting up a café in Bangladesh's capital, terrorists have a score of foreign hostages.

Some missionary friends of mine and their kids were in the airport in Istandbul 4 hours before the bombers hit. They were trying to get flights out and couldn't for some reason. Now stuck there for a few days they said. Very surreal when they heard about the explosions.

Honest question do not Pentecostal and Charismatics seek enlightenment through non scriptural sources?  With the closed canon of scripture many focus on these experiences beyond the bible. The 5 Solas one sola scriptura is fading fast these days.

I have heard preachers (much more studied than myself) say that a true Prophesy, or Word of Utterance or Translation of Speaking in Tongues will never be in conflict with God's Word.

Now I do not have a Doctorate of Divinity, but it sounds pretty good to me.

Now I do not have a Doctorate of Divinity, but it sounds pretty good to me.

I've never seen a self proclaimed prophet with 100% accuracy the bible demands like Agabus in the book of Acts. 1 Corinthians 14:5 "I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying."  Yet no modern prophets 100% accuracy while many claim tongues which is less preferred.
