Story of my life...
Well, today I did my first 5k run for WoundedWarriorProject.org in Cleveland's E 9th st Pier. More info on http://fox8.com/2014/08/24/fox-8-fox-trot-more-than-6-5k-raise-thousands-for-wounded-warrior-project/
We had over 6500 runners and walkers. They had a 1 mile walk and a 5k run. I definitely wasn't first but not last. I did it in 50 mins. Thats not greatest of course but consider that in Feb running on a level treadmill or arc trainer to even .25 mile was an achievement. Next time I'll have some quality running shoes and do some outside running. Today's reading was 242.8 lbs. i want to be under 240.0 by end of the month.
There was 4 of us from my local Walmart in the picture.

Re: August Greetings
Everybody says that Philip. I've had coworkers whom I've worked with before who went to other shifts and come back and ask me about it.
My thighs and hamstrings are sore today but is to be expected.
I'll focus on upper body and do lower incline cardio to give my muscles time to heal.

Re: August Greetings
Day 2 of my trip to TN so far we hit mall and the arcade at Dave & Busters. Spotted an open carrier in the food court at Opry Mills Mall. Just a normal guy packing heat with a wife and two kids. Dumb thing is the mall doors don't forbid firearms but a sign called "Code of Conduct" posted 100 inside does prohibit. To my understanding a legally binding prohibition to carry must be a sign in conspicuous place prior to entry. I'd have to enter to know not to carry. I ignore it like the statements Target and others have released but are not enforcing with a sign.

Re: August Greetings
"The prayers of a righteous man are powerful indeed." James 5:16
I'm not quite there and my brother's family needs a lot of prayer. Brian has had Parkinson's for 6 or so years, and it aggravates his other more minor ailments. His meds are all messed up and they're trying to adjust them. Meanwhile, his wife Marlene has her own health issues and is denying her obvious (to everyone else) alcoholism. Then there's her blind, AIDS-infected brother living with them. People aren't telling each other the truth and things spun out of control. My brother was hospitalized this weekend in a behavioral health unit, because the load has become too much for him. He needs to focus on his own health right now, not everyone else's. I'm giving limited trust to all the involved health professionals to sort it all out and get it right. I might just hop on a plane. The next couple of days are pretty crucial.
