Radio Free Europe - For America

Who on this forum remembers Radio Free Europe? It was funded by the US, and its purpose was to continually broadcast the truth to those living behind the Iron Curtain. It gave hope to countless millions of people enslaved by communism, and contributed to their eventual freedom.

Our Bible-believing and Bible-preaching churches need to be like that, because the truth is becoming harder to find in our own land. So many millions of Americans have no idea that a Culture Curtain has smothered the truth. Adding insult to injury, many churches have become corrupted and no longer speak truth.

What ministries are you aware of that do the Lord's work in spreading His truth? It can be in person, or any kind of media - print, internet, radio, etc.

I remeber Radio Free Europe! and Amen to that.

They tell it like it is from a Christian viewpoint. They are primarily a news site, but offer commentary on the state of our society as well.

Hadn't heard of "notthebee" before, so I took a look.

My personal favorite is www.stream.org. It's the unvarnished truth about what's going on, politically, culturally and spiritually, seen through the prism of a Biblical worldview. A recent feature is the daily Morning Brew, kind of a summary of the latest. All of the columnists are worth the digital paper they print on. Zmirak can be a real hoot as he swings a sharp sword of truth.
