Zero, One, or Two

When major league baseball had their big strike and lock-out years ago, it killed the game for my wife and I. No longer were we glued to the TV a couple evenings a week. No longer did we spend vacations going to parks and watching in person. No longer.

For a year now, the NFL has been losing fans over the "take-a-knee" protests by many players. Yeah, free speech and all that. But there are consequences to actions, and TV ratings are down as a result. I believe Trump's recently expressed opinion on the matter wasn't presidential. It does nothing but divide the two sides. One side has one knee on the ground, and the other side is angry about it.

It occurred to me this evening that there's another way, and I wonder why no one has done it yet. Christians on all the teams should get together separate from the protesters...and get on both knees. Because nothing will change until God is in it.
