Happy Fathers day!
What a deal. I get to work on Fathers day so I can go floating with the Rangers (CAC) trip on Thursday and Friday.
So happy fathers day to all you dads out there.
My Dad passed last year. Thankfully he is in heaven and I will see him again one day in a body that is not ridden by cancer and age. Wooo whoo Rangers! What a deal!
So... anyone getting anything cool for fathers day?

I have the day off. I prolly don't qualify as daddy since most people don't view a stillbirth as qualifying you as a parent.

Chicken dinner. Then my son and I went up into the Elkhorns to get him some teepee poles.

This is "Off Topic", but hilarious.
A friend of mine from Milwaukee (retired Police Dispatcher) called last week, and we were talking of Bowe Bergdahl, and how some folks cannot handle the military. My friend was a SeaBee in Danang, and I was a grunt in the A Shau Mountains north of Danang. My friend said that his cousin went into the Marine Corps, but couldn't handle it, and got out.
He said, "He got the Big Chicken Dinner".
I was perplexed and asked what he meant.
My friend couldn't believe that I didn't know what he meant, and said, "B. C. D."
I laughed for five minutes straight. (BCD is a Bad Conduct Discharge.)

Re: Happy Fathers day!
Wow I had a hard day at work on Fathers day. One job was a downed ariel cable that was down in the ditch and had been down for several seasons..the grass was grown over it..strand and all. Down by the creek it had flooded and someone took a tractor down there ran over the downed cable mashing the splice into the mud (buried the whole splice clouser) it's rual only a 25 customer cable.
What a muddy mess... and it was raining! Whoo whoo Rangers.. GRIN!
3 more days and we go Floating for CAC. YES!

Thanks. I believe life at conception as well. All the Christians I know say that they believe that too. Its typical when a stillbirth or miscarriage happens many will give you old platitudes like, "it wasn't meant to be". They wouldn't say that to a woman or couple who lost a 1 yr old. I guess abortion isn't so bad afterall they obviously weren't meant to be either... (Tongue in cheek).
