Re: March Greetings 2022
I can take it. I'm used to being blamed for all manner of bad things!!
Went to the our school's opening game of baseball tonight. Unfortunately we lost, but it was beautiful weather and we were watching a baseball game! So many people in the world tonight would give anything to only have to worry about whether their team gets more runs than the other team....

So that we can start before school is out, we use an orange baseball.

So what's new with you guys these days? Joecool, weren't you considering a boat sometime back? Did you acquire one?

I did get a small sailboat, and it was great at making me smile, at least until July 4th, 2020. Without going into details, there were 3 safety-related incidents that day which convinced me to decommission it. It now resides in a preschool playground, where kids have been enjoying it. So I still smile.

My boss quit at the end of last year. I am now the Fleet Supervisor. I am essentialy chief fire fighter & head baby sitter.
I plan the delivery routes for the next day.
When any of the drivers has a problem, they call me.
When any of the sales reps or purchasers want someting transported-they call me
So my phone starts ringing between 6 & 7 Am & doesnt stop till 5-7PM at night. Plus we have 2 drivers on the road overnight, I am on call for them too.
Plus I do some tedious data tracking.
Kind of boring, but it has its benefits.
Like not having to venture outside when its below zero.
Or drive 25 miles each way when gas is $3+ a gallon.
I didn't really want the job, but no one else had enough "tribal knowledge" in the company to handle it.

Those who know how will usually have a job. Those who know why will usually be their boss.
Good on you for moving up the ladder. Nothing is without hardships, so you will always have cons with the pros.

Wow, you have really moved up, in the 10 or 11 years that we've come to know you.
Good job!

Don't blame me! I simply messaged you because I hadn't seen any posts from you on here. My shoulders can't take the weight of this responsibility. It's just too much!!

As woke as our military has become (over 1 million man hours lost to it last year), apparently the Brits are trying to take the top spot. Some of their troops are demanding "vegan" boots, not made with animal products.
Just one more generation of this wimpiness and the Russians and Chinese will take the world in a cake walk. We need another Reagan in 2024.

We need NATO to install charging stations for our coming Electric Tanks.
