Easter weekend backpack and float back in time for Easter!!!

we had a great time on the float trip this past weekend. We went from 20 to 12 mainly due to weather and illness reasons. Those that made the event came away with a weekend of found memories and some great preaching out in the woods.

Just came up this morning. Your the 3rd one. I have had this reply to.

I may have to send them a letter again. I had this happen a few years back. Ya just have to love Nerds.

I have about 20 programs ranger related that have self installing (that means you have to click on them to install them) and most web virus software just get's plum scared to death.

Its for your safety. We want all your programs registered with us well because it's for your safety. Grin.

I have a dedicated server that serves nothing but webpages and files. It excepts no uploads. Everything I send over to it is scanned on my system.

I will double check it tonight when I get home.

Checking the system over. I did have a malware virus that had corrupted the exe files. I over wrote those with new files and am running a system scan on my server.

It's very possibe that someone downloaded one of these exe files and got a 36.5 k file (signature of a malware) and reported it to their virus software collector. So the next edition of virus defination files that comes out gives out the warning.

I have ran all kinds of system scans trying to find out where this malware is. It layes dormant for months at a time. Then it overwrites these 20 exe files and goes into hiding again. It's just a nusance as the malware software finds it and removes it before it does any damage. Yet it's aggravating. That is all it does. It's been nagging me for years. GRIN!

That's weird... Maybe I'm glad I don't understand computers more. Ignorance is bliss!

Well I am clean again. server has had a deep scan and the infected file has been deleted.

Updated the latest greatest virus software as well.
