Introduction of myself "Commander Hendon"
Greetings Commanders
little short introduction about myself. I have been in Royal Rangers since 1969, 9 1/2 years as a boy. West Texas GMA # 4, National GMA #414 with one gold and two silver buffalos. Commander since June 1978. I have served in every position there is in local outpost Lt. Commander, Commander, Sr. Commander, Outpost Councilman, etc. and many positions in district leadership in two different districts. Training LTC, LTC Buckaroo/Straight Arrow, LMA, and Advanced Level, NTC, ANTC, BSTC, National Academy. Also a Five time recipient of the Medal of Excellence. I have worked with all the age groups. I even have worked with that Mark Jones guy back in S. Missouri (don't hold that against me )
I am currently in Kentucky working in a local outpost as a expedition commander. I am truly one who falls in the category of an old timer with 46 years in Rangers and I this June will be old enough for RRA.
Also I am a graduate of Central Bible College and I am a license minister with the Assemblies of god.

Re: Introduction of myself "Commander Hendon"
Welcome to the forum Commander Hendon. Hope you enjoy yourself here as much as I have over the past few years.
To me this forum has the feel of a group of Royal Ranger commanders who are sitting around a dinner table. Yes, there's a lot of Ranger talk, but there's also a lot of talk about random topics. This may bug some people (that every thread and reply isn't totally about RR), but I like it. If you stick around, this place can become like a meeting spot for old friends. That means sometimes there're disagreements. Other times jokes and surfacy idle chatter. And still other times the deeper sentiments of life make their way to the table for discussion.
All in all it's a good place to be. Hope you enjoy yourself here.
