Job update
New job is going well. It is challenging me, as I have never done anything quite like this.
I haul PVC sewer pipe, Iron water main pipe, PVC drainage pipe, Iron sewer grates, manhole frames & covers, Brass, Iron & PVC pipe fittings etc.
I mostly deliver to construction sites.

This is much more physical than my previous job & is kicking my butt some days. ( i was quite out of shape)

On the upside, I like the people I work with & I am learning new things: like how to secure loads of iron pipe.

In a couple of hours, I give all our RR gear to another church up north. Sigh.

Yesterday afternoon, the wife and I were sitting in the shade at another retired couple's home. The man said that he was struggling trying to instill values into his grandson. "Why did Royal Rangers go away? It would have been perfect for him."

I gave him a 30-second summary and then challenged him. "Get some other grandpas and dads together and approach the pastor with your need. He would then ask me what we could do. But I have to tell you, my wife and I are not going to be the Lone Ranger and Tonto anymore. We need people to commit to help."

He blustered a little and changed the subject. Double sigh.

I came close to dieing at work today.

Praising the LORD today as He saved my bacon.  

I was preparing to unload 3 20' sections of 15" iron pipe. I had just unstrapped the pipe & was rolling my straps while I waited for the forkift. I head the forklift come up to the other side of the truck.

a still small vioce said "you should go around to the other side where he can see you".

I walked around to the other side as the forklift was moving in to pick up the pipes.  He scooped up the pipes, but only got 2. The third pipe  rolled off & crashed down right where I had just been standing.

I've been preparing an unused classroom for Sunday School this fall. The curriculum was prepared by a retired cold case detective, so it's going to look like a PD briefing room. Might try to get a few props from the local department.

Well, if you want it to look like Roll Call was, when I started out, it should have a bunch of open ticket books, a pin map on the wall, snowy rubber boots, stained coffee cups, and ash trays full of cigarette butts.....

.......and on the front desk, a BIG, HARD-BOUND FLAT-BOOK WITH A RED COVER, that we called the "Day Book" that was read by the Shift Sergeant.

Sometime earlier this year, I posted about the curious drip-drip-drip of information about extra-terrestrials. Various government agencies and politicians have been sharing information, which includes videos and credible witness testimony. At the time, it occurred to me that officials are getting ready for the (faked) great reveal, whose purpose is actually to fool us into a great panic, which they can use to gain greater control over us.

Today, I read that Chuck Schumer (NY-D) recently introduced a bill that basically calls for our gov't to reveal whether it has any dead/live aliens in its inventory. Are we getting set up by the elites? Think of the reaction if Joe Biden were to reveal "evidence" of intelligent life out there. Beyond the fear, what would that do to Christian theology? "Did Jesus have to die for their sins, too? But wasn't he the final one-time sacrifice?" I think you can see how weak/milky Christians would be thrown into a crisis. They'd walk away in droves, giving further ammo to the elites to discount all religions.

Why such an elaborate con? To remove the #1 obstacle to their plans.

Well you know, they are running out of things to distract us from the mounting Biden scandals. They know they are in trouble at the next election & are desparate to get us to think about something other than them.
