Post by RRCmdrBennett August 10th 2013, 12:00 am

Tonight I attended the 16th birthday party of one of my Expediton Rangers Ben. He is my GMA recipient from earlier this year.

His look of disbelief tha he was getting a .22 LR rifle was priceless. That was after he opened our bag with a cleaning kit, oil, solvent, ammo, the two 30 rnd mags, and the manual.

There was another boy who asked about getting involved in the Expedition ranger meetings I hold on fri/sat 1 to 2 times a month. He asked about the GMA changes. So who knows may have another one.

August Thread - Page 3 Empty Re: August Thread

Post by Claymore August 12th 2013, 9:48 pm

We are between pastors at our church, and have been assigned an Interim Pastor.

He is 70 years old, well-read & informed.

Last night, he went into detail of the "Woman at the well" in John 4.

He went through the entire event, but then came to where the apostles returned to him (they had gone into town for food):

27 Just then his disciples returned and were surprised to find him talking with a woman. But no one asked, “What do you want?” or “Why are you talking with her?”

28 Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people, 29 “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?” 30 They came out of the town and made their way toward him.

31 Meanwhile his disciples urged him, “Rabbi, eat something.”

32 But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you know nothing about.”

33 Then his disciples said to each other, “Could someone have brought him food?”

The Pastor said, "Just goes to show you.  Even in Jesus' day, when the Preacher was trying to teach them something, there's a bunch of people in the Congregation thinking about Lunch."

Bought "1984" today by George Orwell. I've known about it for a long time, but just never pulled the trigger on buying it until now. Found it in paperback at Target today for $7 so I grabbed it. Pretty good so far.

That book/movie has been mentioned numerous times on various fb "rebel" groups. I've wanted to get a copy for awhle. Sometimes you gotta wonder if it was pure luck these writers and movie makers are able to predict the future so accurately or they know something is in the works.

Would you consider a book review topic to share with us?

I think it shows that "People are People", and that there are those in power who will use Torture, Spying, Mind-Control, and whatever to maintain power.

Orwell was one of the first to marry the idea of abusing technology to spy on and to control people.

Fortunately, he was wrong (Right NSA? Excuse me, I have to go whip-up some more home-made black powder for deer season. The meat tastes much better when you make your own bullets & powder).

I think the ones that work are real and the others are not! Wink

Lots of things can be used for "mind control". Fear, love, desire, devotion, etc. I believe in subliminal messages as well. I'm not sure about the frequency outputs that Jesse Ventura talked about putting thoughts directly into people, but maybe that's because THEY don't want us to believe that.... Maybe the "matrix" is real. Maybe we're all just puppets on strings. affraid

I heard Jimmy Fallon say, last week, that President Obama was at a school, and said that he wanted more funds to get High-Speed Internet into all schools.

And one kid said, “Why? So you can read our e-mails faster?”

Are you ready to take the red pill with me and see where the rabbit trail goes?

I do definitely believe in mass media sending signals in a subliminal way. With the advances in nuero-science and such I don't think its unreasonable to suggest a more direct way of brainwashing an individual.

Was that true cause its hilarious!

At least he didn't ask O what his latest favorite food is this week!

I'm not a worrier about all the political shannanigans but I do think more of us need to be informed as a nation. Gives us more things to Pray about.

That was part of Jimmy's monologue.

But it goes to show you that the Hollywood Left doesn't mind the Government cracking down on freedoms --- until it starts to possibly effect THEM.

Isn't that true of most of us!

A lot of white folk feared standing up to KKK for fear and that it doesn't affect us. Many didn't stand up for Jew when the Nazi's came for them cause they weren't Jewish. When they come for us we look around for someone to help us but there is no one left...

I went down to Fin Feather and Fur Outfitters with my father in-law this morning. Still very well stocked on ammo. I happen to see CCI .22LR Mini-Mag in hollow points. Something I never saw before. Looks like limits are easing up. New sign only had restriction of 1 brick of rimfire or up to 100 rounds of .22 cal. Put some more $ down on the AR. Saw the new ad had another M&P15 in camo. The rest of the specs are the same. For $120 more I could swap out the one I have in layaway for the camo version.

On the way home and while cutting grass I felt very sluggish and heated. Resting now and feeling better.

After my sister had gallbladder removal she had to watch her diet when eating fatty foods. The gallbladder collects bile from the liver. Gallbladders release the bile to aid in digestion of fatty foods. When removed the bile is continually passed through the intestines.

Each person is different. Some have problems.

Well, I was debating between this or top shot of my shaved head with sunglasses...Mr Green I knew you'd razz me Very Happy

I found it was easier to host the pic off-site than to upload it and mess with resizing it.

In a few mins I'm heading over to do a complete inventory of our Royal Rangers gear.

Post by ccm2361 August 18th 2013, 9:34 pm

we had a small group Wednesday.  4 rangers & me Laughing

But we had fun building fires anyway. fire

Last Monday my mom calls me & asks "are you going to the family reunion this saturday?"
Is it this Saturday? I ask
"Yes" she says.
OK will be there I say.

So yesterday we piled in the car & headed off to my cousin Amber's house  (ok, shes not exactly my cousin, her dad & my mom are cousins)
So off we go, 135 miles one way.

We pull in & get out

there is Amber. What are you guys doing here????? she says.  The reunion is NEXT week! whatum  Not Working
then in pulls my Aunt & uncle  (my moms sister) then my mom arrives

It seems my dear mother also told my aunt the reunion was this week.  so there we are 7 of us & nothing to do. August Thread - Page 3 2410941

We ended up going out for lunch. food was great. August Thread - Page 3 3452256262

We had planned to stop at Cabela's in Dundee MI on the way back, but this gave us more time.

ended up walking around in there for 2 hours Thumbs up

But essentially it was a long drive for nothing.  Not sure if we will go back this week. it was $45 worth of gas. Cant do that every week.
