Toughening Teens

Post by joecool on September 22nd 2017, 12:25 am

Over the summer, some of my church friends helped me in developing a list of resources that we feel are effective in speaking to teens. Waaaaay too many of them leave the church as soon as they move out of the house, because they haven't been adequately trained and toughened up (spiritually and mentally) to stand up to the outside world. If you've got teen kids, teen grandkids or teen Rangers, take a look. Consider sharing the list with others.

Thanks for the list of resources. I'll have to go through those and check it out. I've probably mentioned it before l, but our church's "calling" is to train up the next generation. Some churches do missions, homeless or prison outreach, etc. Ours is kids, so I'm always happy to see good training resources.

Post by Canadarangers on September 23rd 2017, 2:09 pm is putting on a free "parenting teens conference" online. Great speakers, and like is said it's free. Of course the speakers are all selling something afterwards but it''s really easy to close the window..
