Re: July, My favorite
Ramsey was on a local station for years until they changed the lineup. In a way, the show had a lot of repetition...similar problems and similar solutions. Still, I liked to listen in.
We went debt-free 15 years ago, but it was my wife's savvy move years earlier that made it possible. Once when I was overseas, my wife used a power of attorney to buy our first house. (I never thought she'd actually do it, though.) One day I received a video tape and put it on the shelf, thinking it was her family reunion. Some time later, I got a letter asking if I liked the house! Then we sold it at the height of California's madness and moved to Montana.

Re: July, My favorite
Down to the crunch time at work. We've only got a couple weeks until schools start back up, so everything has got to be finished up on these projects. The problem is that for the control guy, I'm at the mercy of other trades to actually get the new equipment in place (and then powered up) so I can finish MY part of the puzzle. Of course as is alway the case, everyone thinks that once the equipment is set, duct work tied in, and power applied that it should instantaneously run. They forget that the control system must be installed.
Of course it's not all of the equipment that is the problem, just the last few units that they set. We try to stay as far ahead in the game as possible, but it always ends up being a scramble at the end for us. Probably going to have to work straight through until the deadlines in a couple weeks. Add the SC summer heat and it makes for some fun times! Nothing like running rigid conduit, pulling wire and terminating roof top units on a tar and gravel roof when it's 100 plus degrees. I feel like I just got out of a pool most of the day with sweat steadily dripping.

Re: July, My favorite
I am visiting my family near Toronto Ontario this week. It is so hot here right now over 100 with the humidity. I don't miss this heat.
