Back from Boston, and had a great time. The history and ethnicity were quite satisfying, and the food was superb. Watched a game in Fenway Park. Our grand-daughter got to helm a water taxi and a Duck. We inscribed our names on a plate of copper that will be fixed to the hull of the USS Constitution (currently in dry dock). Picked up a couple of old maps...1828 Louisiana Purchase and 1678 Lower Egypt and the Nile.

Thank you, Jesus. We have a new pastor, who received 93% of membership's vote this afternoon.

Praise the Lord. May God richly bless you and your church. It's a neat thing to be at peace with your pastor.

Mighty dry no rain in a while now. Lawns are all burnt brown. could use a little--> rain alas none in sight. At least the temp is down. We had several days of temps in the 90's. Yesterday & today it dropped down in the upper 70's. Much more pleasant.
Planted our garden this week. had to water it a lot so far.
