Merit day suggestions

What merits can be taught in a single day format other then then leadership merits?

Any specific age level?

Silver:
Truck transportation
Landscape Architecture
Any shooting merits

Blue
Firearm safety
Tool craft
Fire craft
Cooking
First aid

Green:
Fa/cpr
Swimming

Most importantly it needs to be challenging and fun. No writing all spoken and hands on. They will forget it all in a few weeks anyway. Just get them though them and spend time making memories.

If you can get them out of the classroom all the much better.

We have a Ranger Lake Day
Fishing (blue)
-Basic Swimming & Advanced Swimming (Green)
-Possibly Lifesaving (Silver)

--- Bonus activities
For elders who feel they've been there / done that
-Fishing spears
making fishing handles or cane poles from the kit the "always have" in those survival tins

If you can arrange a few commanders and the proper tools, Models (pinewood derby)

For elders, Primitive shelters / Wilderness Survival can be in 24 hour days
