Like the new avatar Dan
A world with out Spock is not logical
Time to catch up a bit.
been busy & tired a lot lately & just haven't made it on the forum to talk much. I meant to get on last night, but after a 12 hour route over icy roads in Detroit yesterday; I just crashed early.
We got a new vehicle last week. not "new" new, but new to us. Its a 99 Honda CR-V. A bit old, but in really good shape. Somebody took good care of this as you do not see 16 year old vehicles in Michigan that are not showing significant rust spots.
also picked up a new pistol about 2 weeks ago, a Kel-Tec P32 not a great pic, but it will do for now

Re: March Greetings 2015
Chris,
Congratulations on both new possessions.
I hope that the vehicle gives many years of safe hauling for you & your family.
I have a bit of information about a potential problem with the Kel-Tec Pistol. In order to not hijack this thread, I posted a topic about it in the "Firearms" section.

Re: March Greetings 2015
Heading out this morning for the Big Springfield Sections races. It's nice only 1/2 mile from my house. We could have anywhere from 100 to 250 cars racing today with 2 tracks running.
Last night we sat up at the Ozark AOG church gym. Lots of fixing going on.
Supertimer II had a glitch I had never seen before. Called their tech support and had it fixed in 10 minutes after me spending a hour trying to figure it out. GRIN! There is a hidden menu that you can get into the chip in the timer itself and reset it.
Pretty cool idea. I would rather there be a menu for it so I don't have to call the man!
Going to setup a projector and slide show of pow wow and have that running. Also having a dart shoot with the pellett rifles as a side attraction.
Going to see my 1st new Grandson this afternoon. I can't wait to see him and his big sister. Grand kids are wonderful.

Re: March Greetings 2015
We had a great time at the races and a awesome visit with my new grandson. My wife bought a kite for my granddaughter and we played outside a perfect day for about a hour. It was muddy and our shoes were covered but we had fun.

Due to the snow I think. Our attendance was down this year. If we had 100 cars there that would have been pushing it. Before 2007 we used to have 180 to 300 cars running. I hope the new National Director and bring some focus back into our Ranger Program.

Just looked at the national website. The last news update was posted in September. Six months have gone by and nothing since the big turnover. What to think? Either national staff thinks nothing needs changing, or they're gun-shy over making any change. The average commander out in the field can accept change, so long as it's for the good of the kingdom, which is where the focus should be. The first concern should be on quality, not quantity. Or, put another way, quality leads to quantity.
