Hi Guys! I'm Back!
Good Morning!
It is good to be back!
The last few years have been hard. After my son left Rangers and my dark days after my divorce, job loss, and also quitting Boy Scouts for their moral failings after forty years as an uniformed adult leader, the past five years have been very tough! Not to mention the on-line attacks by Commanders not living the Ranger Code. Because I was not active in Rangers for several years, I have forgotten it's worth.
I was asked to help with a new Outpost last year and it has sparked a renewed love for RR ministry. In two years we went from 6 boys to 25! I am so glad to see the growth of Ranger Chat, and hope I still have friends that remember me and would love to renew old friendship and make some new one too! I am looking at joining Trail Life too just to check it out.
About me: I am a 55 year old Verizon Wireless Switch technician, living in the Metro Des Moines, Iowa area. Born in Detroit and went to college at Valley Forge Military College and was on active duty during Desert Storm. I enjoy several hobbies Ham like radio and model & HPR rocketry.
Thanks,
John

Hi John. It's good to hear the report and that your back! Over the years I have thought about you and wondered where you were at and all. It's good to see you back in the saddle.

John,
Watch out for Strods!
He'll have you trading your Khakis in for Buckskins.

I do not apologize for being a supporter of FCF

Strods I use to attend 1st Assembly, and part of OP13. I attend Journey Open Bible Church that meets at a Johnston movie theater. My new OP is 101. I guess I will see you at Break-a-way. We run the Ranger Derby.

I am still eating light so I don't get bigger! Was pushing 300 pounds and 260-ish. My goal is 225 for this year. Can't minister to boys if your dead! Want to get healthier. So yes I even have salad for breakfast sometimes.
