Unlike our dear admin I was very fruitful in finding decent .22LR ammo. Last couple of days cci "quiet .22LR" has been replenishing itself. Hopefully a good sign. For my good fortune I am told I SUCK! Laughing

We just use a couple of orange cones for the flags. You will anso need something to mark "jail". I like to make about a 10 foot circle with rope.

They will play until you force them to quit. You can even put colored glow-sticks on their arms to designate which team they are on after dark. In the daylight, I sometimes use colored plastic surveyor's tape on their arms or as head-bands.

And at the end, you will have a bunch of tired, happy, sweaty kids.

This is gonna sound crazy, but how does it operate? We haven't played it, so I just don't know. I like ti know all the rules and intricacies of a game before I launch it for the boys. Please enlighten me if you will....

Tonight was my first GMA court of honor that I planned and executed. I'd say we had about 150 in attendance.

More photos coming soon.

Can't complain about having images but cutting them off is getting annoying

Lots of fun. Now since I compiled over 40 letters my sect'l cmdr given me the job of preparing outgoing letters for all future GMA's in our section. Sometmes I wish I could be more mediocre... lol! some were surprised when I read GWB's letter as he is not the president anymore. He is most recent president that still sends letters to those receiving religious related awards. I also read Ohio Gov Kasich's letter as well. Soon I'll have video from two sources and mor pics to sort.

there is a picture size limit setting. I left it at default to start out. I will fiddle with it.

My son Seth's baseball team came in 2nd place for the first half of the season, but dominated the second half of the season. The championship game will be between the 1st place team from the first half and them... Looking forward to that!

They finished up the regular season tonight by ending the game with the mercy rule. Went into the bottom of the 4th 21-0. Three up, three down and that was the game....

We've thought about trying to get into our local 4th of July parade. I feel like maybe next year would better than this year though. We're still so new and are still working on formation and haven't gotten to marching yet.

Plus I think the khaki's would look a lot sharper in a parade...

We use utility and tac. Boys wear jeans.

I remember doing a 4th of July parade back home in khakis. I about died. It was hot especially in khakis. It was the only parade we ever did. I get complaints about doing parade here in May using Utility shirts. I can only imagine in the Carolinas its further south is going to be hotter in July than it is here.

Of course we might be able to do a float... That would help if it was ridiculously hot. We could also do two different scenes on the float. Some boys in dress khakis like honor guard and some boys in jeans and ranger shirts sitting in a camp scene.

That way people could get an idea of what RR is about as we go by. A slightly military Christian scouting program.... Wink
