Heading out to a Ranger Derby Crafting day at the Ranger Annex. 2 sections come together to allow the smaller churches with out the tools to make cars at rock bottom prices. We have been doing this since I was the Sectonal Commander some 14 years now. It's good to give and help others.

February Greetings - Page 3 Empty Re: February Greetings

Post by RRCmdrBennett February 15th 2014, 8:24 pm

Since Thursday I've had severe sinus headaches but a couple decons and 800 mg Ibuprofen has gotten me back to normal. Since Feb 3 I've been in a biggest loser contest with a bro at church and another bro from Indiana via facebook. I started at 298.6 and this morning weighed 287.6. Thats a loss of 11 lbs.

Picked up a couple AR mags 30 rounders for $20 each at Gander Mtn.  The salesman they called the AR geek recommended command arms. When I got hem home I noticed they said made in Israel. Hopefully that means good quality.

That's funny.

The Wife & I were outside stacking firewood for next year. I had taken off my jacket, sweatshirt, and was working in my shirt-sleeves.

(64 degrees with 84% humidity)

Did another workout today. I burned 600 calories doing 1 mile arc trainer and 1 mile treadmill. Weighed in at 286.8 lbs.

Tonight was our "Young at Heart" fellowship for young or those couples that feel young. Each couple brought soup or chili for the pot luck. After the meal we watched a segment called the 5 Love Languages. Good DVD.

Our first big church wide race in at least 15 years.

We sat up the track and stuff last night. Having a full blown rib dinner at 5 pm then the big church race. Kids race this afternoon.

Lots of fun!

Moving into my rental house tomorrow! Probably sounds crazy that I'm looking forward to moving into a house in another city than my family, but it's way better than a hotel!!! I have several big contracts coming up down in Charleston, so I decided it was time for me and the crew to get a more permanent place to stay. All of us live in rural areas, so living in a tight neighborhood for a long period of time just didn't appeal to me. I found this rental about 15-20 minutes drive out from our jobs sitting on almost 1 1/2 acres. The home was built in 1968, but just got renovated.

I'd say this next picture really captures one of the reasons why I hated staying at the hotel for the past six months.
I snapped that pic this past Friday morning when I left for work. I'm glad to be done with that place!!
