Re: New pistol
I was looking at this pistol, because we just finished a Basic Pistol Course for Ladies, and one of my students cannot pull the slide back due to arthritis.
I was thinking of this Beretta Tomcat design with the tip barrel/chamber.
Chris, you can fire the first shot double-action, correct?

Yes
the Taurus is pretty similar to the Beretta, except in price

If it doesn't have a slide, what actuates to cycle rounds?

It does have a slide, but because it is a blowback action, the recoil spring is very stout. so the tip up barrel makes it much easy to load & unload.

Re: New pistol
I did not see a Model Number on Christi's gun.
Is it also a PT22, or is it a different Model Number?

Re: New pistol
Good thing I'm sucking all the .22 ammo away from Chris so Christie can't shoot him too many times!

Re: New pistol
I'm thinking about maybe getting one of those... I usually carry my LC9 because on most days I'm wearing a pair of Carhartt dungarees and it'll slip right in and out my front pocket. When I wear jeans with tighter pockets, I drop my 38 derringer in my back pocket. The derringer is better than nothing, but it's horrible to shoot. So I'm considering this...

Re: New pistol
Get yourself a pocket holster, it helps keep the gun in the pocket. Also keep the gun oriented the right way & helps break up the outline of the gun.

I'll check that out.
Does that gun only come in 22lr, or can you get it chambered for 22mag?

Re: New pistol
It's a Tried & True design.
I did, however, notice the Investment Casting detent on the barrel lug.
As my Lieutenant said in the Drug Unit, "I've seen better machining on a bicycle rack............."
However, he was referring to the 9mm Chinese Tokarov that I was carrying as an Undercover Gun.
